September 2017

Last weekend the new temporary ramp from 42 North to 295 North opened. The new ramp is a little bit to the left of the previous ramp which you can see in this picture on the right. The new ramp is also three lanes like the previous one.

The new ramp merges almost immediately with the two lanes from the 76 east ramp to form five lanes.

The right two lanes merge to form four lanes. The far right lane becomes the Black Horse Pike exit lane, and the other three continue onto 295 North.

76 East to 295 North Ramp

The new ramp from 76 East to 295 North opened earlier this week. The ramp starts at the same place as the old ramp but it joins up the 295 North lanes very close to the Black Horse Pike exit providing very little time to very over to the exit if you are are coming from the ramp. At some point in the near future the ramp for 42 North will shift further to the left and merge with this new ramp closer to where it used to merge. All of this work will clear enough room to build the new 295 main line flyover. Here are some pictures of the new ramp.
