Missing Moved 12/2021

At the Big Timber Creek bridge they have started to pour the concrete or the abutments on both sides of the bridge and started to install more of the concrete beams. 





Here is one of the beams waiting to be installed.




This is the section of the missing moves ramps between Creek Road and Leaf Ave. This section will be ground based so they have started to build up the earth to the height of the finished road.

Missing Moves 12/2021



More steel has started to go in for the Missing Moves project. This will be the ramp from 42 North to 295 South right before it passes over 42.

Missing Moves November 2021

 The old Creek Road support on the South bound side of 295 and work has started to build the new one.



Capping is being added to the top of the retaining wall the forms the ramp from 42 North to 295 South.

The first pieces of steel have been installed in the Missing Moves project. These are for the ramp from 295 north to 42 south as it passes over Creek Road.

Browning Road Overpass

 The temporary Browning Road overpass has finally opened making way for he demolition and reconstruction of the existing bridge.

Here are some pictures from before the opening of the temporary bridge.



Here are some pictures driving over the new bridge. It is one lane in each direction, with a sperate pedestrian walkway down the side opposite the old overpass.

Missing Moves 10/2021

The new center support piers are complete on the Big Timber Creek bridge and they have started to install the beams.



 

Work has started on the retaining walls for the ramp from 295 North to 42 South.



On the other side of 42 is the ramp from 42 North to 295 South.



Work continues to widen 42 South between 55 and the new ramps.

Creek Road Overpass

 

Traffic on the Creek Road overpass over 295 has been moved over to the newly constructed section. This will clear the way to demolish and rebuild the other half.

Missing Moves August 2021

 Support for the missing moves ramp along Creek Road. The front side will support the overpass over Creek Road, the back side will be a ground based ramp.



Retaining wall that supports the ramp from 295 North to 42 South. The support in the distance will hold up the 42 North to 295 South ramp as it passes over 295.

In this picture you can see the yellow forms used to extend one of the center support. The pipes in the lower left are probably for the foundation on support wall on the southern edge of the creek.

Browning Road Overpass Move 3

The third and final move of the temporary Browning Road overpass has been completed. It will now take a few months to put down the road deck, re-route utilities and finish the approaches and then traffic we be re-routed onto the temporary overpass to allow for the reconstruction of the existing overpass.

Browning Road Overpass Move 2

This week they did the second move of the temporary Browning Road overpass. This move pushed it to the center support. One final move will take it all the way across to the other side.




Here is a look at it from the existing overpass.



Now that the bridge has been moved half way out there is enough room to assemble the remainder of the bridge.
