Here are some pictures of the progress of the repair of the collapsed section of the new 295 main line. The front section of the retailing wall has been removed as had the end wall that connected to the back section. The support columns that would have been for the bridge sections have also been removed. I series of widely spaced pilings have also been driven in.
Work has also recently started on a temporary retaining wall where I have indicated with the yellow line below. This is along the new main line overpass near the tunnel from 42 North to 295 North. I presume this is to allow construction of a permanent wall.
