Mid June 2015 Update

There have been a lot of noticeable changes around the project over the past few weeks.

On 295 Northbound below 42 the new lanes have been paved all the way from Creek Road up to the new 295 ramp. Here is the section leading up to Essex Ave.

The area between Essex and the ramp has also been paved.

Noise barriers have started to go in on the new ramp.

This area along the edge of the cemetery will eventually become a new ramp to 295 North.

Along 295 Northbound above 42 they have started to restore the noise barriers that have been moved back. The lanes have also been shifted closer to this side to allow for work in the median.

The new ramp along 295 Southbound just above the Al-Jo curve has received it’s street lights. Pretty much all the details of this ramp are complete except for the fact that it doesn’t go anywhere for now.

Work has recently started up again on the retaining wall by the ball fields.

Al-Jo Curve, June 2015

They have recently removed a big stretch of the noise wall along the beginning of the Al-Jo curve. This are actually isn’t part of the final design so I assume they are doing this to temporarily shift traffic to the right so other work can be done.
