Now that Spring has arrived the pace of work seems to have picked up around the project area. Let’s start by looking at 295 N below 42.
A new lane has been paved from Creek Rd up to just before Essex Ave.
They have started to cap off the retaining wall leading up to the Essex Ave bridge.
The steel has been set for the Essex Ave bridge and work has started on the road bed. I don’t have a good picture of this.
They area between Essex and the new ramp has almost reached it’s finished height.

They are in the process of putting in the rebar for the deck of the ramp.
New work has also begun at the end of the new ramp with sheet pile having been installed along the edge of the old ramp.
