Last week the project passed a milestone with the opening of the new ramp from 295 North to 42. Currently the road splits just before the Creek Road overpass. The right two lanes go over the new ramp onto 42 and the left lane goes to the 76 express lane.
A couple weeks ago they began work in the median between the Bell Road overpass and the 168. They poured a new cast concrete Jersey barrier down the center median, but for some reason had to remove the whole thing and re-build it. Here are some picture of the re-building that is currently going on.
Work has begun at the start of the Al-Jo curve. They will be building the next section of the new ramp that will eventually connect 295 South to 42 South. The first piece of this ramp was built during phase 1 along 295 south just about the curve.
Finally, they continue to drive pilings along the cemetery.
