August 2017

Now that the new 76 East to 295 North ramp is open work has started on removing the old ramp. This pictures shows that the bridge over the original 295 North ramp has been removed. Eventually the ramp from 42 North to 295 North will shift over into this area.

The North bound 295 lanes just above 42 have been shifted slightly left to make room for work on the retaining wall between 295 and the cemetery to continue. You can see equipment has been moved into place to resume work.

76 East to 295 North Ramp

The new ramp from 76 East to 295 North opened earlier this week. The ramp starts at the same place as the old ramp but it joins up the 295 North lanes very close to the Black Horse Pike exit providing very little time to very over to the exit if you are are coming from the ramp. At some point in the near future the ramp for 42 North will shift further to the left and merge with this new ramp closer to where it used to merge. All of this work will clear enough room to build the new 295 main line flyover. Here are some pictures of the new ramp.
