Things have been pretty quiet on the project for the past few months, but they are going to start picking up now that the 3rd contract has started.

 

Let’s start with the progress on 2nd contract.

Here is the work going on between the north and south bound lanes of 295 between Bell Road and the Al-Jo curve. Drainage work is being done along with preparations for a new sign structure.

 

Here is the new sign structure waiting to be installed. It will go over the south bound lanes.

 

This picture was taken from the new ramp from 295 S to 76 W. On the left you can see the path that the new ramp from 76 E to 295 N will take. You can also see the new ramp over 76 in the distance.

 

 

The structure of the new 76 E to 295 N ramp was completed a few weeks ago and decking work is currently under way.

 

Land clearing along Essex avenue has begun for one of the two new sections of the Bellmawr Park Mutual Housing. This will be used to relocate the units that will need to be removed the project.

 

A new temporary wood fence has been constructed at the corner of the cemetery just before the 76 overpass. This area will be used to access the new temporary bridge over 76 that will be needed while the existing bridge is reconstructed.
