June 2019

Here is a look at the current progress on the mainline ramp. More paving has been done, more of the center median has been installed and you can see sign structures are on site ready for installation.

At the other end of the new mainline concrete forms have started to go in to create the top of the overpass abutment.

June 2019

A lot of work continues on what will eventually be the northern portion of the new 295 mainline. They have started to pave the section leading up to the tunnel that was recently built.

Here are a couple views of the progress on what will become the ramp from 42 North to 295 North.

Just beyond that ramp is a large pit that I assume will be used to construct foundations for an overpass support column.

Along 42 South, just below the Browning Road overpass, they have been installing noise barriers.

The have started to install re-bar for the concrete cap on the abutment.

They have been doing a lot of earthwork leading up to where the 295 main line will pass over the new tunnel. You can start to see the final shape of this section of the road. Just below the crane they have start to build the foundation for a sign structure.

April 2019 - Part 1

Work continues on what will become the ramp from 42 North to 295 North.

They have started to build retaining walls that will form the sides of the ramp.

Pilings are being installed where I assume there will supports for bridge sections of the ramp.

March 2019 - Part 4

This picture is a little blurry but gives an interesting view of the work going on along 42 South just beyond the Browning Road overpass. You can see two distinct paths in this area. On the right is piece of the what will become the new 295 main line overpass. On the left is what will become the new ramp from 76 East to 295 South. You can see how this ramp rises up from where it will pass under Browning Road.

March 2019 - Part 3

Here is a photo of the work going on along 42 North where the new ramp to 295 North will eventually be.

Here is a closer look at that area.

Back during contract one these support columns were built. Recently forms have ben added to the top of them. These will eventually support the 295 main line overpass.

Here is a look at more of the supports for the overpass. Not much work has happened here recently.

On the other side of the road some more work has been done on the end of this part of the ramp. They will eventually finish off the end of the that section so it can support steel beams for the next section.
