Missing Moves 10/2021

The new center support piers are complete on the Big Timber Creek bridge and they have started to install the beams.

Work has started on the retaining walls for the ramp from 295 North to 42 South.

On the other side of 42 is the ramp from 42 North to 295 South.

Work continues to widen 42 South between 55 and the new ramps.

Traffic on the Creek Road overpass over 295 has been moved over to the newly constructed section. This will clear the way to demolish and rebuild the other half.

Missing Moves August 2021

Support for the missing moves ramp along Creek Road. The front side will support the overpass over Creek Road, the back side will be a ground based ramp.

Retaining wall that supports the ramp from 295 North to 42 South. The support in the distance will hold up the 42 North to 295 South ramp as it passes over 295.

Support in the median for the 42 North to 295 South Ramp.

Widening of the bridge over Big Timber Creek.

In this picture you can see one of the newly extended center supports.

In this picture you can see the yellow forms used to extend one of the center support. The pipes in the lower left are probably for the foundation on support wall on the southern edge of the creek.

Browning Road Overpass Move 3

The third and final move of the temporary Browning Road overpass has been completed. It will now take a few months to put down the road deck, re-route utilities and finish the approaches and then traffic we be re-routed onto the temporary overpass to allow for the reconstruction of the existing overpass.

Browning Road Overpass Move 2

This week they did the second move of the temporary Browning Road overpass. This move pushed it to the center support. One final move will take it all the way across to the other side.

Here is a look at it from the existing overpass.

Now that the bridge has been moved half way out there is enough room to assemble the remainder of the bridge.

Browning Road Overpass First Move

Last Friday they began the process of installing the temporary Browning Road overpass. The first phase saw the bridge pushed out towards the North bound lanes of 42. They will now add another section to the other end of the bridge and will do a second push to move it across the lanes to the center supports. A final push will move it all the way across.
