Demolition of the Bellmawr Mutual Housing units is now in full swing. I believe a total of 5 buildings will be removed.

Here you can see the first one has been removed right where they are starting to extend the ramp.

Work has started on the retaining wall along 295 South between the Al-Jo curve and Browning road.

Here is a look at the current work on 295 N. This will eventually become the ramp from 76 East to 295 N.

I believe this is the area where the new 295 mainline will pass over the ramp.

They have started to cap off the top of the retaining wall next to the cemetery.

The retaining wall near the Bellmawr ball fields continues to grow. This is picture if from a few weeks ago.

Here is a more recent picture with the wall almost full height.

With the retaining wall built they have started to join this area to the portion of the ramp that was built under contract 1.

The siding has been stripped from one of the Bellmawr Mutual Housing units in preparation for it’s demolition.

The retaining wall along the cemetery

The wall on either side of the new ramp from 76 East to 295 North continues to take shape.

Continues work on the foundations for the new mainline overpass

Demolition of the first unit of the Bellmawr Park Mutual Housing will start soon.

They have already excavated the back yard.

Ground stabilization work going on along the ramp to the Southern part of 295 near Essex Ave.

Work continues on the retaining walls that will form the sides of the new ramp from 76 East to 295 North. You can see the row of pilings on either side and the first couple courses of concrete panels on the far side.

In the foreground in the ramp from 42 North to 295 North. Beyond that they have started to install two rows of pilings that will for retaining wall on either side of what will eventually be the 76 East to 295 North ramp.

March 2018

The supports from the old 76 East to 295 North ramp have been removed.

Here is a view of the same area from the other side of 76.

Work has started on the next section of the ramp by the Bellmawr ballfields.

Work along 76 West by Browning Road. Supports are being put in for new 295 mainline. It doesn’t look like work has started yet on the supports for the temporary Browning Road bridge.

Land clearing along the edge of 295 S just below Creek Road.

The steel beams from the old 76 East to 295 North ramp have been removed.

In an earlier picture you can see that there were some Eagles fans on the construction crew.

Here are some more pictures of the work going on between the cemetery and 295 north. This area will eventually become a tunnel that will take the 76 East ramp to 295 North under the new 295 main line.
